Our men's senior squad got off to a winning start against Berkswell & Balsall last Saturday at Glasshouse Lane, running out 36 to 23 victors.

The game was predictably scrappy at times, but Kenilworth did manage to score some well worked tries (Renowden, Mpambawashe, Thompson, Emery, Stevens, Naismith) with Berkswell crossing twice to add to several penalties which kept them in touch on the scoreboard.

The squad will be the better for their first competitive run out, with a number of the club's new recruits getting valuable game time, and will be hoping to build on this performance when they welcome Old Leamingtonians to Glasshouse Lane this Friday (7.45 ko).
