Former Kenilworth player Will Maisey, who will be playing for Coventry Rugby in the Championship this season, joins the club as 1st XV Backs Coach with fellow Coventry player George Oram working alongside him as Forwards Coach.

Dan Careless will continue in his role as Strength and Conditioning Coach with Becky Large heading up the physiotherapy team. In addItion, Adam Turner and Jai Purewal will be responsible for the management of the Senior Men's section.

Bobby Thompson will once again captain the team and he will be supported by fellow senior players Gareth Renowden, Mikkel Andresen and Nick Gerber.

Looking ahead to the new season, Purewal said: "Everyone at Kenilworth RFC would like to thank Chris for all his hard work during his time at the club and we all wish him well for the future.

"We are really pleased to have Will and George on board this season. They are both highly experienced players who are looking to develop their coaching skills and we are looking forward to working with them over the next twelve months."

Captain Thompson added: "It's been a tough and especially hot pre-season but the boys are really looking forward to the new campaign.

"We have two warm-up matches before our league campaign begins next month and we can't wait to get started!"

Kenilworth return to action at 3pm on Saturday (11th August) as they welcome Berkswell and Balsall RFC to Glasshouse Lane for the first of two pre-season matches. Old Leamingtonians then make the short trip down the road on Friday 17th August (KO 7:30pm).

Kenilworth then begin their league campaign away to Old Laurentians on Saturday 8th September.
